Buoyant from last year’s overwhelming success, the Barisan Nasional Youth will give job
seekers the opportunity to come face to face with their preferred choice of employers or
even their dream jobs. Candidates from Kuala Lumpur and neighboring states can expect
more value added perks as new channels of opportunities has been opened up in an
attempt to further create value for the participants.
The event to be held in Putra World Trade Centre will be officiated by Y.B Dato' Seri
Hishammuddin Tun Hussein, Minister of Ministry Of Home Affairs and Vice President of
UMNO.
Before Kuala Lumpur, this event was held in Bukit Jalill, Sandakan, Senawang and Ipoh
where a total of 25,000 jobs was offered. The grand finale in PWTC will bring in more than
40,000 jobs from more than 273 companies for jobseekers.
This year’s theme is CASH, stands for Career, Achievsement, Studies and Home aptly
describes the intention and direction of BNYJF’12. The event will not only focus on
employment but will take a holistic approach towards the personal and career
development of the participants. As part of this approach, candidates with the assistance
of the Ministry of Higher Education will provide the opportunity to candidates who wish to
better themselves academically thus improving their chances of success in the
employment sector. Loans, franchise schemes and technical assistance will also be made
available for those who wish pursue their own business through government agencies such
as MARA, KPDNKK and MOA
Another key features of BNYJF’12 is Radar jobs profiling where candidates will be matched
to the right jobs through profiling their personality types and skills online. Introduced for the
first time in a job fair, jobseekers can use this free service to find a suitable job according to
their personality.
Encik Nazir Hussin, Chairman of Barisan Nasional Youth Job Fair remarks, “BN YOUTH JOB
FAIR is one of the creative solution by Barisan Nasional Youth in meeting the needs of the
young people and reaching out to the young people.”
Job seekers are advised to come early with resumes in hand and be prepared for on the
spot interviews with prospective employers. This is the perfect opportunity to evaluate
where you stand in the current job market and get an insight into jobs that are in demand
currently and for the coming year 2013.
Organized by Barisan National Youth, BNYJF’12 will be open to the public from 16th to 18th of
November 2012 at PWTC, Kuala Lumpur from 10am to 6pm. Admission is free.
